  Sacred Heart of the Urban Jesus.jpg - I thought I was being very clever "mashing-up" Ralph Waldo Emerson and Ralph Ellison, only to discover after this cover was finished that Ralph Ellison's middle name is, in fact, Waldo, and he was named after the great Transcendalist...joke's on me. I am not a religious person by any stretch, but I find it is very hard to NOT absorb or be influenced by religious iconography in our culture.
